Starting from September 15, 2026, passengers at the Skopje Railway Station will have the opportunity to purchase tickets through brand-new self-service machines. This modernization step is part of ŽRSM Transport’s commitment to improving the travel experience and making railway services faster, easier, and more accessible.

Faster and Easier Ticket Purchases

The machines allow passengers to buy tickets using cash, bank cards, or mobile payment options. They also provide information about schedules and prices in Macedonian, English, and Albanian, making travel easier for both local and international passengers.

“This is only the first phase of our digitalization plan,” said Gorančo Jovanovski, Director of Passenger Traffic. “By the end of the year, similar machines will be installed in Kumanovo, Veles, and Bitola, making our services more modern and passenger-friendly.”
